One of the coolest features of Learn Robotics courses is the built-in Online Editor. In order to use this, you need to install a Chrome Browser extension.

There are two ways to do this. You do not need to do both.

Option 1: Use the Chrome Web Store

For users who can add extensions through the Chrome Web Store

1. Install through the Chrome Web Store. Click here to open the App.

2. Then press “Add to Chrome.”

Option 2: Install Manually

For users who can’t access the Chrome Web Store, you can upload an unpacked extension. (This option is best if you don’t have access or permission using Step 1.)

1. Click here to download the .zip file.

2. Unzip the contents or copy the contents (CTRL-A) into a new folder.

3. Then open Chrome and navigate to this link: chrome://extensions/.

4. Make sure the Developer Mode toggle is ON.

5. Next, choose “Load unpacked.”

6. Choose the folder you just created. This will add the dependencies needed to use the Online IDE.

One of these options must be completed before using the Learn Robotics IDE.
