How to use Student Accounts

In this article, learn how students can register for an account in the Learn Robotics LMS.

Once your school or enterprise account has been set up, your administrator will receive an onboarding email containing your custom URL and access information.

Types of Student Accounts

There are two types of Student Accounts: 1) No Group Key and 2) Group Key.

If your classroom has a Group Key, it will be issued in your administrator’s welcome email. If no group key is assigned, then use the registration process for “No Group Key.”

What are Group Keys for?

Group Keys are used to manage multiple sessions of Learn Robotics courses at the same organization. Students are organized by their group enrollment, which makes reporting, tracking, and instruction easy to manage.

For example, if your school runs a 1st Period Robotics and 4th Period Coding class, you’ll be assigned two group keys to manage the students in each session.

How many groups can I run at my organization?

You may run as many groups using the Learn Robotics LMS as you’d like. We’ll automatically group licenses to best suit your training needs as part of your active subscription.

You must have at least 1 active Staff License per group.
