3 Ways to Promote Student Engagement

Sometimes we all need a little encouragement — students included! In this article, learn how Learn Robotics can help you promote student engagement in STEM-related subjects.

1. Reward student success with Learn Robotics Stickers

Every box that arrives to your school with kits includes a pack of Limited Edition Learn Robotics Stickers. We encourage you to use the stickers as incentives or rewards for excellence in the classroom.

Learn Robotics Stickers collectible! This means we rotate the stickers that are sent in each box.

For every shipment you receive, be on the lookout for the latest Learn Robotics Stickers. You never know, which rare ones your box will contain. Stickers can be used to decorate student prototypes and robots or for just about anything!

If you’d like to order more stickers for your classroom, contact your Learn Robotics Account Manager.

2. Have students create presentations or host demo days

Another great way to promote engagement is to have students present their prototypes and robots to their peers.

This can be done in a variety of ways:

  • Presentation
  • Recorded Video
  • Demonstration
  • Class competition or challenge
  • Small group reviews

You can be creative with how students present their work. The goal is to encourage students to present their solution and compare/contrast different ways of solving the same problems.

3. Run a Learn Robotics Classroom Competition (Coming Soon!)

Participation and registration details TBA 2022. Contact your Learn Robotics Account Manager, to be added to our launch list.

For schools running Level 2 curriculum and beyond, you can register your school for the Classroom Competition.

Students will compete individually against their peers. The top 3 students from the Classroom Competition will be added to the National Leaderboard with a chance to compete against students around the country at Learn Robotics Studio in Fort Myers, Florida.

Participating schools must be enrolled in Powered by Learn Robotics Level 2 with a Classroom Competition registration.
